~On the beach
BE AWARE – Depending on the season there could be turtles coming ashore to lay egg or in the process of laying eggs. DO NOT SHINE LIGHTS, even the light from a cell phone can make a turtle abandon laying eggs. Don’t be that guy/girl..
There are some port-a-potty’s but are used by many so be prepared I would recommend not eating supper the night before the launch. Plan on bringing snacks and drinks, maybe a little changing room if you want to dig some catholes.
You can camp on the beach at your own risk. It is free
The beach fills up FAST and is first come first serve
Past Matamoros, the road is narrowed down to 2 lane coming and going so don’t be late
